That game is really enjoyable... I haven't picked it up in a few weeks. I've pretty much been on the PS3 and my GF hardly puts the DS down anymore.
I was solely using FPS games as my basis for this... with the right software, you could really get a pretty nice advantage, hotkey everything from fire, movement, strafe, reload, weapon switch, etc. What is really key to all this is the multi-touch and visual feedback.
You could easily pull a 180 with a quick swipe of your finger on the side, scope in by pinching etc... you could even add a multi-function row of keys along the side, doing everything with 1 hand that you do with 2. I know this idea isn't flawless and its not even real... but I like coming up with ideas and trying to work out all the bugs, I just never actually do anything with it.
For now I guess just stick with your standard mouse and keyboard. But it should be interesting to see how this technology evolves. The one about the mirror is pretty sweet, I'm sure you've seen the game you can play in the car, using the outside as your game background and playing on the car windows as the screen.
