I havent done a leak down test yet, but I pulled the oil pan yesterday to see if anything was in there. The reason I did is because john said there was a little bit of debris inside the turbo, but nothing bad and the seals were fine. I put the studs in the oil pan and began to torque things down. As soon as I put some torque on the nuts it just then went on "easy'. So since the stud isnt moving at all when i tighten or loosen the nut.....I guess its tight enough? Hell I dont know.....I am worried it will cause an oil leak.....almost feel like cutting the ends of the studs off and putting the dcr stuff back on.
Oh and what happened is my car smoked here and there...not during boost or letting off after a race, but in regular traffic where i hadnt boosted at all I would at times see some smoke. Pulled intake and intake manifold off...all dry.
Did you get the washers with your spacer and stud kit? Let me know because that could be the problem. Thanks.
