Well, I put my 2 cents in and filled it out. I agree with most of everything that everyone else is saying except for the autostick. I have taken both of my PT GT's out to both drags and road course track day events. Drag racing produces more consistent times with a auto trans, so while the manual trans is fun, the auto is really the better choice...when it is a good auto trans! my experience at track days on the road courses had me wanting the autostick to perform even better than it did. Downshift responses were a bitch

, but the upshifts were awesome and I could focus on just driving my line and learning. Then I thought that a 5 speed would be better suited...and not grenade, which the grenade part has been true..butm the 5 speed is not really better and does distract your driving.
So, my unpopular vote is to bring an autostick/paddleshift, but one where the trans holds up to the abuse and works. It is different, but driving the track is the most fun.
