At last night's little get together at In-n-out, we discussed that heading up to Firebird for some drag racing on 3 October would be much better than heading out to our own ShittyIR. I'm on leave all that week so I plan on getting there before they open so I can get as many runs in, seeing how that'll be my last time racing in the next 6 months.
Anybody have any advice for racing at Firebird? I normally have my BFG D/Rs set at 15 psi or so. How's the track? I hear they actually do something called "prepping the track with VHT".
I know I asked this before, but if anybody has a set of slicks they'd be willing to let me try at Firebird before I deploy, I'd greatly appreciate it.
