Talk about street tires

Underground Racing has a solid history of producing high powered and very quick twin turbocharged Dodge Vipers. Their latest Dodge Viper Drag Racing record is a 2004 Twin Turbo Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible running in the 9’s on street tires. The driver managed a 1.75 60′ time on what appears to be 19″ street tires, a pretty impressive launch given the amount of power the twin turbo V10 must be making. The car produced a few runs in the 9’s with the quickest run of 9.812 @ 150.05 MPH. The highest trap speed we saw on the video was just over 152 MPH.
