internals are good till ~500 @ the wheels
and tranny is finicky. ..mines a 05 and i have the 3rd gear pop out but its not as serouis as people talk about.
Its an awesome car. My frined just sold his red 05 with 31k for 10.5k and it was stock. Good luck finding one unmolested.

I had a 97 Tercel and was planning on importing that motor and then go from there with trying to get it built
