I have a S2 car and have way better times at the track than a S3 car and I am still beating a 50 trim car there too by .1 of a second. So it is possible. As for the OP, list all the mods that are on your car. That will help figure it out. As for the S3, well, if the guy was a stock S3 and hasn't messed with anything I would say the car probably is running pretty strong, but if he has messed around with it at all, then there might be something wrong with it.
but then it wouldn't be an s1/s2 car.
