I actually don't think it's the master cylinder. Maybe a connection of the slave cylinder...like where there is that quick disconnect tab to the right of the tranny. If that isn't sealed up right, then it will make the clutch pedal REAL firm. Then you will definitely break the clutch pedal pivot point.
