Default dead s3r fuel pump replaced with walbro 255

My stage 3r fuel pump was slowly dying. Car was running like crap at WOT. Finally figured out that the pump was going out. I replace the pump with a walbro 255 pump and the car runs like a raped ape again. However, I now have a hard start issue. It takes about 5-7 seconds for the car to start and then once I start driving the car will usually act like it isn't getting enough fuel after about 100 ft of driving. Then I can blip the throttle and the car runs fine. Does anyone have any idea of why I'm still having the hard start issue and the initial loss of gas after driving?
