the reason your pump failed is cause your running e85 (85%ethanol, 15%gas). ethanol is very corrosive. i posted a reply on someone Else's tread yesterday about the same thing. ya its 104-105 octane and cheaper, but u dont have a flexfuel or ethanol vehicle. see materials such as certain types of metals and rubber, dont do well with ethanol, they corrode or deteriorate, which in your case, well u found out.
