i am just confused. afterall our property is apart of us. its what you work for. you put yourself in your work, so each and everything you own is apart of you. if someone wants to steal that, they are stealing parts of you.
if a theif has no regard for your property, which we have already described as a part of you, then they have no regard for you. if they have no regard for you, why should we have any regard for them?
further, i have a right to defend myself. further, we, as stated above, recognize that property is apart of us, so why shouldnt i have full rights to defend my property?
similarly, i have a right to defend my neighbor if he gets into a problem. if someone tries to kill him, i can step in and save his life. if his property is apart of him, like mine is me, it would be unethical for me to not step in and protect his goods.
