I wouldn't consider anybody driving second hand Jettas...oops I mean Phaetons baller.
Dude, that's totally not cool. Our Phaeton community is supportive of "pre-loved" Phaeton owners, and while I happened to take delivery of both of mine when they were new, I certainly wouldn't think any less of the person who buys them from me.

The Phaeton was such a a crapbox nobody wanted them, I mean to pay upwards of 50 grand for a giant Jetta with some chrome? Not even the most hardcore VW fanboy would buy them, hence thats why they are unloaded onto the market with the most pathetic resell value. You can pick them up for around the same price has a loaded Civic now.

Any chump with a minimum wage job could rock one....or two.
If you happen to come across any of these loaded-Civic Phaetons now in good shape, would you PM me the details? I'd kind of like to add a 2004 W12 Premiere Edition to the collection. They were kind of neat cars. I'm also looking for 2005 "four-seaters" in Campanella White. So if you happen to come across any, you know what to do.
It's funny you mention minimum-wage work. Oh, man, I worked so many of those "chump" jobs! I worked for Arby's, for Wendy's, for a local pizza place. My first job paid $2.45 an hour; I earned less than minimum wage because I was only 14, which was too young to work after 8pm back then, and I had to work cheap to get them to look the other way on that.
I'm happy to say that after a few years of those "chump" jobs I managed to find my own way to a decent living, just enough to support my shoe habit and my racing time. I'm not sure there's any such thing as a "chump" job in the long run. Like Randal says in
Clerks II, "It's all building up to something."
Well, I definitely won't try to sell you either one of my Phaetons when I'm done with 'em, because it sounds like you're rocking a better set of wheels than a couple of cars which probably aren't worth more than $45K each retail now. Maybe you'd like to buy something else out of the collection. A 911? Boxster S? CL 55 AMG? Any of that pique your interest? I'm always around to make a deal!
