Actually, AGP makes their own wastegate right now that I'm having really good luck with.

As for boost controllers, if you go manual, go with the Turbonetics one they sell.
If you go for electronic, the AVCR has some great options such as gear dependant boost. I use the eBoost, which I really like. There's other good options out there as well.
