Incorrect...
Out of respect for our client we will not be dicussing the nature of his engine issue with the public, however a couple key points need to be said here.
13.9 : 1 compression on a subaru motor is impossible.
Even the highest of compression race motors are not higher than 10 : 1.
The pistons used in this motor are stock compression 8.2:1 forged pistons.
The heads on the motor are from a WRX where as the block was a STi 2.5L The result in this hybrid motor is a compression ratio between 8.5 and 8.75 : 1
Its a popular combination of block and heads that is used with frequency.
Boost levels are set by the client with there own boost controller or working in conjunction with a tuner. Cars that we build are not "set up" to run anything more than WG pressure.
I am not sure what the OP's deal is with us. We are very concerned about all of our clients, builds and there motors. We would never tell a client to "eat it" or that they are simply out of luck on a project we colaborated with.
If anyone has any genuine concerns, you are encouraged to contact us directly.
Thanks.
