I have 225/45/17 Eagle F1 GS-D3 on the stock rim and they stick WAY out. It looks like the tire is gonna buckle on semi hard cornering. Thats because the stock rim is only 6 inches wide and 225/45/17 are designed for a 7 wide rim, MINUMUM. If I had to do it over again it would not squeeze these wide tires on the stock rim.

widest tire you can fit is a 215/50/17 but there are no sticky tires on that size. Closest on is 205/50/17 (stock size) and there is ONE sticky tire available at that size, BFG KD (not kdw).

There are only 6 street tires at tirerack that are under the "extereme summer" category and the DFG KD is one of them. They are normally $250+ a tire but tirerack has them on sale for $159 becuase they are discontinued so grab them while you can.
