I installed a pretty beffy, brass check valve on my PCV / catch-can line.
Very happy with it, been working great for over a year...
I thought 'missing' brakes issue was just in my head, till I had a co-driver
last season, and we
both took out quite a few cones in the exit gate
(& made a few course workers soil their pants) b/c we had no braking power.
After that I decided to replace the flimsy plastic brake check valve with another brass one.
World of a difference, no more waiting 1+ seconds for braking pressure after letting off the gas.
Still have to focus on strait-line braking of course, & think braking will be
even better after getting new tie rods & coil-overs.
But, check-valve did help alot.
