I had a tough time shifting and a clutch adjustment helped, changing the tranny fluid helps too. My TOB fork was only maybe 1/2 way worn down after 137,000 miles. I think the little TOB tabs break off, causing the TOB to bounce around, they are pretty flimsy. I do know that a tiny adjustment on the pedal has made quite a difference
