Test 4: New cast AGP manifold (ported and ceramic coated) and New Garrett turbine housing (ported and ceramic coated))

Results showed that the First pull was the ‘best’ in terms of power with the consecutive runs showing heat soak yet again.

Temp readings for surface were 590/682/778 and 245/225/295 at 2” ambient.

Overall results: Interesting temp results from the ceramics. You can clearly see how although the ambient temps are in line with the other tests, the surface temps illustrate that indeed the ceramics do reflect thermally as shown by drastic increase in surface temps. From there we showed improvements (quicker) in spool by ~100rpms, and with the exception of small blips at ~3400 and 3600rpm showed improvements in torque across the rpm range up to 51ftlbs more (average of ~20tq more in the midrange but lost up to 10tq above 5700rpm ) and power across the rpm range up to 36whp more (average of ~15hp more all the way to 5,700rpm losing ~8hp above 5,700rpm) when compared to the baseline run.
