I am glad that they did, but it still sucks when you are right in the middle of tuning, decide to do an update and then you're screwed for however long it takes em to repair it. Unlike you, I tune my car on the weekend on my off days. I work during the week. Dave has been great as far as taking care of things, it's just hard sometimes. I also believe that you are in a time zone closer to them, so it's even easier for you to call them up. I am three hours behind them. So I have to wake up before the buttcrack of dawn if I hope to have anything fixed that day... Then I can't test it because I am at work all day. So everything takes longer to get fixed for some of us PRP guys.
I actually had a beta version before it was released but I understand where you coming from.
