Nope the little triangular cover on the seatbelt anchor needs to come off first. Put your hands underneath it and push upwards. It will slide off the belt's bolt. The bolt is a large T-45ish Torx. Be sure you use at least a 3/8" preferably 1/2" drive so you don't strip the bolt when trying to remove it. After you remove the belt/bolt the pillar will pull downward just like the a pillars and c pillars do.

Once you get it removed, flip it over. The little piece in the center (slide piece) pops right out either by hand or with a flat head screwdriver.

Scuff em up and paint!

Its also easier to get the pillars into and out of the car if you pull down the weatherstripping on either side of them. Makes it much easier to put them back it especially.
