Huh? Are saying you're going to be putting 10w40 in the transaxle?
To the OP, try changing the trans fluid. The ATF+4 with modifier breaks down over time because of the modifier. I run Mobil1 75w90 synth gear lube, no modifiers. Works beautifully.
