Thank you everyone for the opinions and advice! As much as I want to quote everyone to reply to each post I would be here forever doing so lol.
I was calm the whole time and polite. I was stuffed with food so all I wanted to do was go home and go to sleep lol. Everything out of my mouth was "Yes Sir, No Sir".
Majority here and outside of the forums, at work... at my wife's job, etc. is saying to fight it and go to court. The more and more I'm leaning towards that route. Now its just a matter how long should I wait to contact them to say I want to set a court date. Got 30 days to pay the ticket.
My driving record has been clean for about 6 yrs now.
