I use a reflective windshield shade. As the manual states the contrast will be reduced if the gauges get above 160 deg F. Because the SRT4 has such a large front windshield the dash area can get really hot. The shade helps our tremendously on my car, I still notice some decline in contrast but they are still very readable.
