When I spoke to with Ohio 2 years ago they had said due to the way the alternator was wound they would not be able to respin it. The wire instead of round is square and if the alternator is opened up the actual walls have been carved to allow the most wire possible. I am honestly not sure what the technical names are (obviously) but I think we should stick with the ecu bypass.
