Went to turn it from 15 to 17 this spring and get crazy hesitation and then it sounds like a salute went off under my hood. scared the shit out of me. anything over 14 gets the hesitation and BOOM. but up that it runs great and pulls hard... so I am thinkin clogged injectors or bad boost gauge??? (although boost gauge seems fine)
While going through my older plugs last night I did rediscover that I had issues with my NGK LZTR5AIX-13 and LZTR4AII plugs. I had spark blow bye through the white porcelain insulator of the plug. I subsequently went to the NGK LZTR6AIX-13 plugs and it eliminated that issue. You may want to check that area for small black trace marks. Looks like very fine pencil marks. At this time I was running stage 3 on the stock motor.
John, you bring up some other ideas with my issue that I'll check too. Never thought about the secondary ignition circuit. I should really also index my plugs as I checked that last night and they face in every which direction.
