Default PTP Filter/FPR Mod

Ok. For those of you that have this, have you ever had a problem with this? Since day one of install, my car acts like it doesn't want to start for the first 5 seconds, and when it does, it wants to die then it finally catches.

Ok, yesterday i even took it out, rechecked all my connections and reinstalled it. Same problems, the car acts like it doesn't want to start for about 5 secs. I put my stock one back in, starts 1st click. I dont know if thats suppose to just happen or what.

Is it flooding at startup or what? I took it out and have my stock one back in because i don't want to wear down my starter by keep cranking it over and just hoping it will start. Thats BS, and if its meant to do that, then i guess i didn't quite understand the purpose of the FPR or something. I have PMed John and emailed him, no reponse. Can anyone help me out here or give me some insight of why its doing that?
