Default Be careful with FullyBuilt ported turbo housings!!!

Not very impressed with my whole situation from doing business with Fullybuilt. I purchased a ported turbo housing from a group buy on March 11th.

First off, The group buy stated that there were 5 housings ready to go. Why did it take until April 18th to end up at my house. I did get some PM's from Josh telling me he broke his lathe and they would get finished when his lathe gets fixed. I never got an answer as to where the 5 ready to go housing were.

Then, the week before it shows up at my house a new group buy starts at $25 less then the one I bought from and mine isnt even shipped yet? I did get ahold of Josh and he just today got $50 refunded for this and for having to wait. Thats fine although I was on a time crunch because of my job and the time I had to work on the car was scheduled for the end of march but couldnt because I had no housing so I asked for a full refund and cancel my order but Josh said NO.

The whole situation sucked so much and not being honest with me means I will never do business again with Fully Built and I wasnt going to support this business by using the housing. No big deal, Who Cares, Whatever!

I was going to seel the housing being that I am not going to use it now but........When I got it and opend the box It had OVERSPRAY all over the inside of the housing. That kind of sucks so now I have to clean it up before I can get rid of it because thats just how I am being and that the person who did the porting and coating(fully built) didnt care to send out a good looking product.

Now for the whole purpose of this thread.

When I was cleaning all the overspray off of the inside of the housing, I was using some scotchbrite and brake cleaner and as I was spraying it out I got some small clumps of ALUMINUM SHAVINGS!!!!! I decided to investigate further and found that there was a bunch of clumps way up in the housing in the part that the air exits and goes to the rest of the motor!!!

Very disturbed/upset to see this from a finished product especially from something of this importance.

Not trying to directly bash anyone here as I have already stated I will NOT be doing any business with him again, More just trying to make sure EVERYONE checks there housings before install as you could have the same issue and that really cant be good to run shavings through your motors.
