Yes it could have been but you are the only that have a problem with it, go figure. No, they would not have shipped. We have a system in place that keeps not paid or pending orders from shipping till full payment has been recieved. This is there for situations just like this. You are putting the full blame on us and I accept it 100%, that is why you got a refund.
Yes I do want you to check. If you're not willing or incapable of that, then you shouldn't give out false information. She could have easily said, "The parts will ship 24 hours after your payment clears"
Hell, you could set up an automated service that answer's all your PMs with the message
"The parts will ship 24 hours after your payment clears, please check you own damn paypal. Kthxbye."
