Ok, I've searched, & only found 2 reviews...and would like more input if possible. I may get a good deal on the Falkens that I listed. But from what I've read in the review underneath that it's not too strong (of a tire for traction or cornering). The tire size I will be ordering are 225/40/18, and wonder if the sidewall will be stiffer being a lower profile.
Also, I'm able to get Nitto NeoGen's for 90 a piece, same size again...and Spector Z-100 tires, same size (Kumho knock-off's), will have to get more info as in model for this...any input will be greatly appreciated. TIA

Review: This tire replaced the stock BFG KDW2's that came with the car. I love the fact that the tire is much quieter than stock, and also is much smoother on those longer trips. Forward traction in both dry and wet are right where the stockers were. Although i did get a bit more wheel hop in first the other day. G35 was asking for it... However, lateral grip is lacking in comparison to the stockers. Getting the highway via an on-ramp I don't feel as confident in the tire as I did with the stocks. That canbe expected because I went from a summer tire to an all season, but it is a downside. Responsiveness is also lacking compared to stock, as I feel that I am not used to the limits of the tire. It has been fairly wet and or snowy lately and the tire has performed well in the light snow that was around here for a while.
Pros: Smooth ride, Quiet, Forward grip in wet and dry
Cons:Less responsive, Lateral traction feels limited.
Note:I have had the tires for about 1500 miles at this point and they seem to be wearing evenly. I currently have them inflated at 36 psi. I have NOT pushed them to their limits, and will update accordingly. All comparisons are based on the stock tires, as I have not driven the car on any other tire. Suspension is stock except for budget sways.
