yes you will need to fix that wire going to your speaker for it to work. Think of it as the wires going to your battery. What happens when you disconnect the neg battery cable? You break the circuit and get no power right? well same thing with your speaker.
It also sounds like you want something that is a direct fit? I just purchased some boston acoustic cx65 (from crutchfield) they come with adaptors to fit directly into the doors. as far as your rear 6x9's any brand name will do. i would seriously look at a cheap 4-chan amp, if you want your music loud.
cruthfield also sells a kenwod 6204 for like 139.00!!! cheap no thrills amp!!
RHunter is correct, you really should get an amplifier for the speakers if you want good quality at mid to high volume levels. Although my opinion for the setup slightly differs. First, I would choose the Kenwood 6
404 from
Onlinecarstereo.Com - Wholesale Car Audio/Stereo Deals At Bargain Prices to power the speakers. You can't beat $105 shipped for a budget speaker amplifier. I would then choose the CDT audio components for the front (
CDT Audio CL-S60A - CDT Audio Classic 6.5" 2-Way Component Speakers) and a nice set of Pioneer Premier 6x9's for $56 dollars shipped (if added with amplifier)
Pioneer Premier TS-A932P Car Speakers
Then you just need to add in wiring for the amp from
Welcome To The KnuKonceptz Online Store, you can get a 1 amp 8 gauge kit and you should be good to go. Let me know if you have any further questions.
