What speakers do I get, and do I need to repair that wire on the left rear or will the new speaker replace that too?

Panasonic CQ-C8303U CD receiver with MP3/WMA playback at Crutchfield.com
Any help is much appreciated.
Edit: Oh, what I'm looking for. I won't be getting a sub. These speakers are as far as I will go for audio stuff. I like playing my music loud because of the open exhaust, I would like to be able to hear it with that or the windows down without problems. I don't want to spend a ton of money on these, so help me out. I think $150 - $175 should be enough..?
sounds like you "should" buy a amp to run your speakers.
yes you will need to fix that wire going to your speaker for it to work. Think of it as the wires going to your battery. What happens when you disconnect the neg battery cable? You break the circuit and get no power right? well same thing with your speaker.
It also sounds like you want something that is a direct fit? I just purchased some boston acoustic cx65 (from crutchfield) they come with adaptors to fit directly into the doors. as far as your rear 6x9's any brand name will do. i would seriously look at a cheap 4-chan amp, if you want your music loud.
cruthfield also sells a kenwod 6204 for like 139.00!!! cheap no thrills amp!!
