this is what Chance sent me on how to change a 2 bar controller to a 3 bar controller try this out it is kinda hare to get it right but it worked on mine

The easiest way to do this is to have the blue wire in one hand and the red in the other.

Take the blue wire and touch it to the 12v source. Let it flash whatever mode it is in.

Leave it connected to the source. Take the Red wire touch it to 12v source. The 3rd LED will start to flash slowly.

As soon as you see this tap the blue wire 2 times on the 12v source. You will see the 3rd LED flicker. As soon as it flickers it is in reprogramming mod. Let it do it's thing untill you see it flash 3 times then 3 times.

They you will be done.
