I will start out with my last setup I had in my Subaru.

Amplifier: Hifonics 1606D - Ran at 1600watts @ 1ohm.
Subwoofer: TC Sounds TC-3000 - DVC 2 ohm I believe? Could handle 1500 watts RMS, 2500 peak.
Box: 2.35^3 ft @ 33 hertz

Pros:
- Huge SPL (Hurt everything in the body)
- Extreme SQ, hitting the lowest of the low notes.
- Never bottomed out taking 1600watts.

Cons:
- Weighed almost 70lbs (Over 100lbs with box)
