I have a viper alarm, and it may not prevent another keying, however after he does it this time it will. This thing is LOUD, and it instantly sends a message to your remote, no matter where you are, saying that the alarm is going off. Just run out to your truck and see who the suspect is. My old car was keyed as well, and this thing makes me feel a lot better. It also has a blue led that blinks that may scare them off.
