Well I wanted to try and get the car running so I went and got a friends stock intake manifold. It had a hole near the #4 injector so I assumed it would be just a small leak and said screw it. Well put it on and cranked the car up.....was hanging at almost 3k rpm! I play with the timing and got it to idle around 1125, but figure what the hell oh well. Let it idle there for about 30min....shut off and checked for leaks...none. Started it back up and let run for another 30min or so and went for a drive around the block. At this time the vaccume leak is causing more problems then I thought....was having to try and tune around the dang thing. I pull into the driveway and said forget it I will just wait until the new stuff comes in. I now see smoke and oil....turn car off and pop hood to find a damn fire on the manifold...here are the results..

Somehow the oil return line decided to move over and touch the manifold....I am guessing it did when I was driving because it was perfectly fine when I checked it while sitting there. I guess my question is now anyone think I hurt anything while it was on fire? No wires are around there....just the turbo manifold really. I am of coarse going to change my oil when I get it running here shortly, but other then that I dont think any damage could have been done?
