the viper was venom red. one of the new colors this year. only made for 3 mos out of the 18 month run. fact it was a coupe and stripes make it a little more rare. the vipers now have so many combinatins of ext color/ interior color / coupe / vert / stripes / ACR that every one is pretty cose to one of a kind.
i can see how someone who is unfamiliar with vipers could do this. the gas and brake pedals are offset to the left pretty drastically. the porter problably went for the brake, but on a viper, the gas is in the location of most cars brake pedal. the pedals are also close together, so while stepping on the brake, hitting the throttle is VERY easy to do. with the new 600hp engine and gearing 0 - 60 can be done in first gear.
i have sold 5 vipers and every time i go to gas one up, i get that gurgly feeling in my stomach. for about a week after i deliver it, i can't stop thinking about buying one.
