sylvania silverstar ultras!
ok for the past year or so i have wanted to get better lights and HAD planned to get a $400 HID conversion kit. then i found out that from my friends that it really causes nothing but problems, and that the GLARE from these lights are dangerous to other motorist so instead i stayed clear of them and then often thought of buying noyka lights, Piaa, and of course Silverstar Ultras. now i really was pretty sure that the silverstars were a good choice but since the thread of "stock vs. silverstar " is very old and there are no comparisons it was hard to pic between the three. now i knew piaa was good but worth $80 a pop plus shipping? i was lined up to buy but then well instead i went with my heart and got the silverstar ultras and there Fucking AWESOME!!!! they really impressed me, plus i got the silverstar turn signals, and the fog lights. i have to say that this is the best lighting mod, and if you thought of it but like me just figured, huh well maybe one day...., i would say that these are worth the money. you of course see, farther, and brighter and WIDER, i was suprised how much wider, makes a world of a difference when you are on old roads with wide sides.now the box says up to 50% all the areas i mentioned and people have said that its more like 20%, and i would probably agree but the Extra 20% is totally worth the money i really wish i had done this when i first got the car but hey i did it now so thats what counts, anyways now im waiting for fog lamp housing so i can do the "yellow fog light" which is totally BadAss. anyways for those who were in the same boat as me i tell you that i was impressed by these lights( and im not easily impressed by light bulbs, and then the hassle of taking the lamp housing out, by the way Neon's are so much easier than the cars i have dealt with, unless its a jeep) but these lights are worth the money and are great, so go get a pair if you havent, they will LITTERLY change the way you see at night!
