I'll get pics of mine this weekend for you, but to answer your questions:

I have my gear specific boost settings on all the time and my car is daily driven 50+ miles every day. Not only has it helped me get my 1/4mi. times down, it's much better driving with it every day.

I have my Toybox 2.0 wired to the inside of my arm rest with about 2 feet of slack in there. I have a small piece of velcro on my HVAC surround so that when I'm racing, I open up my arm rest and attach it on the surround so I can see it during racing. While tooling around town it just sits in my arm rest.
