i would just do a check list and check everything that could affect boost(all the vaccuum hoses still conected,remove stock surge valve and inspect,tighten all the hose clamps on the hot and cold sides).it sounds like you know what your doing so with that said buy a agp wastegate actuator, reroute the vaccum lines and clamp that bitch down set the boost at 21psi and make some power ya the dab won't work but the power is worth it.i make more horsepower out of hom than i did on,then throw race gas in and push that little red switch and experience what hom can really do, just a thought
