NooB question I know

Hey thanks!

As for the rolling shots. I've been using around 1/30 - 1/40th shutter speed in Shutter Priority mode. I try to stay around 40-60mph when I do them. Wide angle shots work better for rolling shots (imo at least).

Try using "S" mode with a 40-45th shutter speed, or 1/30th if you can stay REALLY STILL. Try the shot at 18mm with the kit lens too, make sure the car is close when you shoot it as well. Im on AIM as well if you ever have questions, Id be happy to try to help.
