If its the same as mine there is a small skinny black pin that slid out of that bracket you think is broken. You have to push the top of your head up against the sunroof to see the pin, then wiggle the bracket back and forth while you push the other side of the pin gently. When it catches an goes in part way, stop and push it the rest of the way in. Hope this helps I thought mine was broke too. You have to look at it close. BTW mine was in the closed position an wouldnt open, if yours is open it should be easier to fix, just move the bracket back and forth a little and look for the pin to line it up with.
This is why I love SRTforums. I thought I had broken something and was going to get screwed by the dealer. 15 mins later, all is well.
