I wondered the same thing over the braided...I would think they are better. Thats a good question about detachment. Halon system would have worked well in my friends 240 last weekend. Not sure why, but after getting on it his car caught on fire...couldnt get it out and it melted alot of stuff after loads of dirt was put on it.
