I was tearing down the block so i ended up taking out the whole assembly, but in a way, yes i did. It would be much easier on a lift. I think the hardest part for me was getting the dremel at a good cutting angle while the car was on stands
i should have done it when the new motor went in but i didnt think about it. i'll ask my brother how much he would charge at his shop tomorow.
