While one would like to think, and hope, there isn't anything to it, the rumors of the dire financial conditions at Chrysler LLC are popping up in too many places too frequently not to have at least some merit. We all have to keep in mind though, that since Chrysler is now a privately held company, it's a lot more difficult to know what the exact financial condition is unless you are actually a member of the board.
