I have a pretty strong megasquirt background, and from what I am thinking, do you really need the RPM input as well? If you were to cut spark, just from clutch in and WOT signals, it would drop down the rpm, as well as spool the turbo due to the combustion happening in the manifold instead of the cylinders.

Couldn't this be used as it currently sits as a form of launch control?
