I had every intention on getting a set of these,I am seriously reconsidering that idea.
This sort of thing is happening with all kinds of products, case in point:
I work for a ultra high end carpeting store, let's just say the cheapest product line we carry is around $90.00, and I mean cheap!
Just last week we picked up this order to be installed in a multi $$$ million dollar estate; the product in question is Belgian( one of the best name in the industry) at an insane $320/Page Ranking yd....now get this, it has a "knuckle weave" and it is sold as a wall to wall product, BUT I found out that they omitted to add a normal "bead line low to high" feature that allows us to create near invisible seams...
I brought it to the attention of the big boss and showed him samples I prepared for him in both cross and length seams....Christ, Ray Charles would see these seams, needless to say the entire order was cancelled( after the customer had to wait for over 3 months for this shit to be manufactured) and sent back to Belgium...
Inside every cut roll( 18 in total) there were paper notices about the ultimate quality of the product and inspected by so & so, and yet there you have it,just the typical rush to market!!!!!!!!
Just sick of this shit happening....of course the customer is pissed at me for making the call to NOT proceed with the install, so I am the bad guy, go figure!!!!
Finally someone gets what I was saying!!!
