It is just speculation, but it is based on facts. The G8 is based on the same platform (Zeta) and has a drivetrain that should be similar (small block V8 6speed auto). It weighs in at just under 4000lbs. So, you remove two doors and put in a 6 speed and you could get to 3800lbs easy. Any lower than that is just us hoping.
