With the EMS, you have full control over fuel and ignition timing. You don't "pull" anything with the EMS, you just set it how you want it.
While I don't agree with the OP's choice of injector size, with a fuel returnline and the EMS controlling the fuel pulse, it should still be possible to get a good idle out of the car. That's all that really matters.
