The info in this thread is quite useful. I dont mean to hijack this thread but I have an Acura 3.2TL-S and the HID system is out. The dealer wants quite a bit of money to replace the ballasts, etc. Since my car is set up for an HID system, were I to buy an aftermarket kit such as McCullough or Phillips using the same bulbs as the ones currently in my car (D2R) will I notice the same problems with glare and light spatter that you have described. Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.
