Put the check valve between the intake manifold and the catch can, otherwise you will pressurize the catch can when you're boosting. You want to contain the boost at the manifold, makes sense, right? The best way to stop blow-by is to install a windage tray/crank scraper assembly. This keeps the oil coming off the crankshaft down in the oil pan and no longer getting whipped into an aerated froth that is sucked out of the valve cover when the PCV valve opens under engine vacuum (closed throttle). I have the Ishihara- Johnson version with the balance shaft assy removed. I now get no oil in my catch can and no oil in the cold side pressure pipe. Darrel Cox Racing makes this as well and I'm sure it works great too. The check valve is a must as the PCV valve will not hold 19 psi boost (like I run) and you will have a boost leak and will pressurize the engine. Highly recommended by Dr Mike
